Sign Up & Account Creation Guide
Learn how to register as a new user on the GIIP platform and start your first project.
📋 Overview
To use the GIIP platform, registration via a valid corporate email account is required. After registration, you will manage your assets through a unique CSN (Customer Serial Number) assigned by the system.
🛠️ Sign Up Steps
1. Access the Sign Up Page
Navigate to
https://giip.io/signup2. Enter Basic Information
- Email: Enter your official company email address (used for sending the verification email).
- Password: Set a strong password of at least 8 characters, including letters, numbers, and special characters.
3. Email Verification
You must click the verification link sent to your email within 30 minutes to complete the registration. If you don't receive the email, please check your spam folder.
4. CSN Allocation & Project Creation
- New Customers: A new CSN is automatically created upon completion of registration.
- Invitations to Existing Projects: If you were invited by an administrator of an existing project, you will be granted permissions for that project immediately upon signing up.
🔍 Account Types
- Master Admin: Manages billing and security settings for the entire CSN.
- Project Admin: Has permissions to manage servers and DBs within specific projects.
- Viewer: Can view the status of all assets but cannot change settings.
💡 Important Notes
- Enhance Security: It is highly recommended to activate two-factor authentication immediately after signing up by referring to the [2FA Setup] guide.
- Recovering Accounts: If you forget your password, you can reset it after email verification using the [Forgot Password] feature on the login screen.
