Datacenter Management Guide

Learn how to register and manage information for Datacenters (IDCs) where your physical servers and equipment are located.

🏢 Go to Datacenter Management →

📋 Overview

The Datacenter Management menu defines where your infrastructure is physically located. This serves as foundational data for on-site dispatch or physical inspections in the event of a failure.

🛠️ Key Management Items

1. Datacenter Registration

Add a new IDC to your inventory.

  • IDC Name: Assign a distinguishable unique name (e.g., Seoul Center #1).
  • Location Info: Enter the accurate address and emergency contact number.
  • Technical Support: Record the contact information of the resident engineers or technical support team at the IDC.

2. Asset Integration

Form a logical hierarchy by placing Racks and servers under the registered datacenter.

3. Environmental Information

Make notes on the power supply methods and cooling systems for each IDC for reference when expanding infrastructure.

🔍 How to Use

  • Filtering: Select a specific IDC on the dashboard to view gathered statuses of only the assets located in that center.
  • Emergency Response: In case of a failure, immediately check the [Contact Information] to request on-site action.

💡 Important Notes

  • Be careful when deleting IDC information, as it may cause the location values of Racks and servers connected under it to change to
    Unassigned
    .
