Model Provider Policy
Which AI models GIIP uses, how they are routed, and what data reaches them.
- Base model — Claude drives reasoning, planning and execution; GIIP builds no foundation model of its own.
- Task routing — Claude Opus for hard reasoning/code, Sonnet for light classification/summaries, Fable for isolated research, Google Gemini for image generation.
- Customer control — models can be specified, pinned or switched.
- Data to models — the scope sent is configurable and confidential data is masked by rules.
- Training — providers do not train on the data (zero-retention by default).
- Providers & contract — Claude, GPT and Gemini under enterprise agreements.
- Air-gapped — local-only models can run, but a Slack (internet) path is assumed for request/response.
